The Inestimatable Worth of A Wife

REFERENCE:  I Peter 3:7 Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.

Observation: The word respect here means honor. It carries with it the meaning that husbands ought to assign a high value, put a big price tag on thier wives. Wives should be, to everyone of their husbands, worth a great deal.

Application/Confession: I need to let Gloria see by how I act and know by what I say that she is a valuable person in my life. That I not only esteem her, but I place a high value on her as well.

PRAYER: Lord, please teach me, more and more, how to show Gloria that she is of great value to me. That she is a person worthy of honoring. I want to do this because she deserves it, because You ask me to and because I don't want my prayers to be hindered.
