The Power of Sins Revealed

REFERENCE: Proverbs 28:13 He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.

Observation:  When we refuse to confess our sins, when we hide them and hope that they go away, things do not go well. The only way to find mercy is to both confess and renounce. It is too easy to renounce, many Christians do, but it is the confession, especially to another person, that we often lack. Because we don't confess, we don't find mercy.

Application/Confession: I need to stay accountable. I do not want to have a secret life. I must confess my sin and have people around me that ask me the hard questions that need to be asked to keep me right.

PRAYER: God--I will confess to you, I always have. But I want to continue to be the position to be honest and confessing my faults to others.
