If You Are Being Followed You Had Better Know Where You Are Going

REFERENCE: Hos. 4:9 ‘Like priests, like people’"since the priests are wicked, the people are wicked, too. So now I will punish both priests and people for all their wicked deeds.

Observation: We, as leaders of God’s people, need to be especially careful of our lifestyle and moral choices since we will be leading the people not only into righteousness but into wickedness as well.

Application/Confession: I need to realize that the choices I make, since God has called me as a spiritual leader to my family and to my church, will effect the moral temperature for the whole family or whole church. I will either be leading people, by my example more than my words, into living right or living wickedly.

PRAYER:  God, thank you for the position of responsibility you have placed me in. Teach me to take it seriously. Help me always to be force for greater righteousness instead of wickedness.
