Hanging In There

REFERENCE: Rev. 3:10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

Observation: This seems to be a promise to the end-times church that they will be kept "from the hour of trial". It seems to imply that the church will not go through, at least, the worst part of the Great Tribulation.

Application/Confession: I am glad to see this promise in scripture. I want to "endure patiently" whatever comes my way so that I will be in a position to be saved from the wrath of God on this earth.

PRAYER: Lord, sometimes it is so hard to endure and especially to endure patiently. Please help me and, in your will, I would love not to go through the latter part of the Great Tribulation--but I trust in you in any case.
