Just Open The Door

REFERENCE: Rev. 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

Observation: This is a verse that is actually written to the Christian. Christ Himself is asking admittance to our heart to come in and have intimate fellowship with us.

Application/Confession: I need to pay more attention to that gentle knocking. It is so easy to miss. It is so easy to get busy and not even realize that God wants to come into my heart and spend time alone with me.

PRAYER: Lord--I want you to come in. I want to experience your intimate presence. Please come into my heart and let's live together. I know that there is an intimacy that I want experience more and more of.
