What god likes

REFERENCE: Psa. 141:10-11 His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of a man; 11 the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.

Observation: We might be tempted to think that God delights in our power and strength, but what He really delights in is our dependancy on Him.

Application/Confession:I always want to "do" for God--to be strong for Him, to accomplish for Him--but what He is looking for more than anything is my loving dependance and reliance on His love.

PRAYER: Lord--please remind me, deep in my soul, how much you love me and let me revel in that love and may I always fear you--have the respect and awe you want me to have.
