A Voice For the Silent

REFERENCE: Pro. 31:9 Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice.

Observation: We have a responsibility to see to it that the poor and helpless get justice. In our world, and sometimes with us, our concern is for the rich and powerful.

Application/Confession: I need to remember God's priority for the poor and helpless--it needs to be mine as well. It is too easy to help those who I believe can help me back, I need to be very ready to help those who can not return the favor in any way.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank You for the poor and helpless You have put into my life. They remind me of You Lord. You said that if I did it to the least of them I have done it for You. Help me always to remember that and to serve You by serving them every chance I get.
