To Judge or Not To Judge

REFERENCE: Matt. 7:1-2 "Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. 2 For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged."

Observation: God will give us grace only in so far as we are willing to extend grace. We will be required to live up to the standard we set for other.

Application/Confession:  I want, in my flesh, to judge others but not to be judged by God. That is not how it works. If I want grace, I must extend grace. I need to recognize that I am setting my own standard of grace by how I act towards others.

PRAYER: Lord, teach me to live extending the grace to others that I want You to extend to me. You love them, I need to as well, and I want Your grace so I need to live as a consistent grace extender .
