Never Quit Knocking

REFERENCE: Matt. 7:7-8 "Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened."

Observation: If you want to recieve from God the key is to keep asking and keep knocking. It is not because He does not want to give--He does--it is because being persistent teaches us to be dependent on Him.

Application/Confession: I give up too easily. I forget His promises. I want to be a persistent asker and seeker, and then I will be a finder.

PRAYER: I will not give up, Lord. You have made promises to me and I will pursue them, believing that You are a good Father and that You will do what You have promised to do.
