Humans: The Awesome Pinacle of Creation

REFERENCE: PSA. 8:5-8 Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor.    6 You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority; 7 the flocks and the herds and all the wild animals, 8 the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea, and everything that swims the ocean currents.

Observation: WOW--what are we as humans? A little lower than God, having glory and honor, in authority. How much did we lose in the fall? How much has Christ restored in salvation? It is incredible to think of our potential, if we could just grasp it.

Application/Confession:  I, at times, give into feeling like I am a big bag of nothing. I don't count. I'm nothing of value or importance. I must always remember this verse--I am a creation of God who made me a little lower than God filled with glory and honor and gave me authority. It is in Christ that I find my true self.

PRAYER: Lord, help me!! I want to live up to what you made me to be. What you won back for me in Christ. May I never forget who I am in you.
