SCRIPTURE Psa. 14:1 Only fools say in their hearts, "There is no God."

OBSERVATION It doesn't take a lot of insight or intelligence to see that there is a God. At the most basic level, how does this world and universe exist if there is no God? Where does mankind's consciousness come from if there is no creator? Where the design in the universe? Why did so many prophecies from the Bible come about without a divine author?

APPLICATION/CONFESSION I need to live each day like there is a God who knows me, loves me and watches me. I owe it to Him to live my life for Him, not for myself.

SCRIPTURE Lord, I am so glad you love me! Please forgive me for those times when I live like you don't even exist. I am a confessing believer but, at times, a practicing atheist. I don't want to do that--please help me.
