WOW, Look at That!

SCRIPTURE: Psa 19:1-4 The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. 2 Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. 3 They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard. 4 Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world.

OBSERVATION: Here we are maybe 3000 years after this was written. 3000 years of investigating the "skies", the universe, and what have we discovered? That the universe does speak to us of the greatness of God. The studies of "black matter" and "black energy" show us that the very shape and design of that the universe took on after it's creation was controlled by this power, this force that scientist can only speculate on. The best scientist now know that there is an invisible force that controls the universe--how interesting. Wonder what it is?

APPLICATION/CONFESSION: When I start to wonder, to doubt the existence of God--of His reality--all I have to do is to look at the night sky and see how great He is and what He has shown of Himself in His creation.

PRAYER: Oh Lord, you are so great! Your majesty and might is seen in the universe. Just as your Word says; your voice speaks loudly through your creation of nature. May I always be amazed by it.
