God Is Watching Us--and it's not from a distance!

SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 5:21 For the Lord sees clearly what a man does, examining every path he takes.

OBSERVATION: After giving all the other reasons for avoiding immorality, this one caps it. The most important reason for living right is not that it will hurt your spouse (which it will), not that it will bring destruction on your life (which it will) but because God is watching. What other incentive do we need?

APPLICATION/CONFESSION: This is something I need to remind myself of constantly. God knows everything I do and everything I think. I must live circumspectly and with great care. Not because I am afraid of Him but because I do not want to offend the God I love.

PRAYER: Lord, I love you. I always want You to be proud of me. Help me to remember that my life is played out in front of Your eyes. May I live, always, like this is true.
