It Will All Work OUt For Good

REFERENCE: Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Observation: What a great promise. It is so hard, in the tough times, to believe that all we are dealing with really will work for our good. If we will let it, tough times make certainly creates greater character in us. Beyond that, we never know how God is setting us up by what we go through. It may seem all bad but we don’t know what God is up to that we can not yet see.

Ron Mehl wrote God Works the Night Shift and the whole point of the book is that when it is dark, when we can’t see what is happening, God is working out something good.

We need to believe this and expect it.

Application/Confession: I sometimes feel sorry for myself. I need to stop that. God is working out everything in my life for my good and I will to believe that and stand on it.

PRAYER: Dear God, I believe that you are working everything together for my good and I will hold fast to that belief. I know you are good, you are God and you love me so I can believe, with full confidence, that You are working a great plan in my life.
