Our Revenge Or God’s

REFERENCE: Proverbs 20:22 Don’t say, "I will get even for this wrong." Wait for the Lord to handle the matter.

Observation: If we will be willing to leave revenge up to God and do our part to forgive, then we will be far better off. If we are tempted to take matters into our own hands, remember, God’s judgment is both more severe and more just. We may even find ourselves trying to get even through the silent treatment, petty slights and sarcastic words. Yet, instead, if we give it over to the Lord, we can let go and free ourselves from the weight of the offense. We can be free and know that God will bring ultimate righteous judgement.
