You Are In Danger If You Cause Division

REFERENCE: I Corinthians 3:16-17 Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? 17 God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.

Observation: We all know that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and that we should take care of them and not destroy them because they are sacred in God’s sight. What we may not be aware of is that the Church, the Body of Christ, is the temple of the Holy Spirit as well, and if we destroy that we are under the same kind of judgment.

How quickly far too many Christians go about trying to tear down and ruin God’s church. They even believe that they are following God’s will and doing His work. The truth is that they are doing the work of Satan himself who hates the church and would like nothing more than to see it weak and divided. We had better think twice before we do anything to cause division and strife in the church.
