We´re All The Same Before God

REFERENCE: Galatians 3:28-29 There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God´s promise to Abraham belongs to you.

Observation: We are the ones who makes distinctions between people. We seemingly have a compulsion to categorize people by gender, or nationality or social/economic status. God, on the other hand, sees us all the same. The only difference is our relationship to Jesus - are we in the Kingdom or not.

We need to learn to have God´s eyes. We need to see people the same way. God is calling us to learn not to identify ourselves or others by the group we are a part of, but as one who is a part of His family. There is simply no room for sexism, racism or classism.

If we are a part of His family, whether we were born a Jew or not, we are heirs of God´s promises and those promises are great!! We are promised blessings at home, blessings in the city, blessings in the country, abundant provision and so much more.

What it takes from us is understanding and faith. Understanding of what God has promised us and faith to lay a hold of it.

Application/Confession: I sometimes find myself giving into Satan´s lies that say that God does not want to bless me. I know He does, but I need to believe it and never stop believing it. As a proper heir of the promises of God, I need to expect blessing on my life, my family and my church.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You have promised me the blessings of Abraham. I accept them and choose to believe for them in my life. I know that You, Lord, will bless me in what I do, in my relationships and in my finances. I know that You will bring advancement to me and show Your favor in my life. Give me the faith to constantly believe this.
