REFERENCE: Revelation 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life.
Observation: As the whole of the book of Revelation wraps up, the Holy Spirit that lives within us and we, the Bride of Christ, almost shout within ourselves; “Jesus come, come soon.” Come and relive us. Come and save us. Come and bring us to live with You forever. It seems that there is something inside of each of us that simply cries out for Him to come; for us to be fully revealed as His kids. For us to take our rightful place in His Kingdom.
Application/Confession: I stand in that place. I am ready for Jesus to come back. I’m ready to be done with the stress and tension of living this side of eternity. I say with the Spirit; come Lord Jesus come.
PRAYER: Dear Lord. Only God knows when you will return but may it be soon. I, personally, can’t wait!!
