• 2/26/2009 - The Gospel is illogical

Posted in Unspecified

I was listening to a preacher who was saying that christians ought to make more reliance on intellectual and logical arguments instead of the supernatural in witnessing of their faith to  unbelievers.

I was unconciously shaking my head sadly so I got earwigged after the meeting which gave me the opportunity to vent.

It is perfectly logical and reasonable to believe in God-you may not but at least you accept that others do and can put forward reasonable and valid arguments for why they believe as they do, arguments which you may or may not be able to counter.

But the gospel is not reasonable or logical it makes no appeal what-so-ever to human intellect, what? that a child should be born to a virgin? and that this child should Himself be God the Creator? that He should be nailed to a tree until His life-blood run to the ground? and that by this means God should make reconciliation with His rebellious creatures? that after three days in the tomb God should raise His Son from the dead? no no these are not reasonable or logical arguments at all, they make no appeal even to my limited education.

Some people  believe these truths because they were taught them from earliest childhood, I am an example of that, John Wesley is an even better example for he was highly educated with a razor sharp intellect.

When Wesley graduated from Oxford he set sail for America as a missionary to the native Americans but he was not at that time saved, he did not have living faith. He failed in America, in fact he very nearly got run out on a rail. He came back to England under a cloud.

It was on board the return ship that he met a bunch of simple Moravian christians and in fellowshipping with them he witnessed that they had something he did not have. He did not know it then but he was witnessing the inner life of Christ in the soul, he was witnessing a new  kind of faith, a LIVING faith.

You may one day look through the eyes of wonder at the creation all around you and you may well come to an understanding and apprehension that all you see must be the work of a Master Creator of infinite wisdom and power. But this not the faith of the christian by which he is saved, in which he stands. This is not the living faith I am talking about.

Days later John Wesley testified at a meeting in Aldersgate St London that "my heart was strengely warmed and I knew in my soul that He had borne away my sins, even mine."

From that day forward Wesley became with his brother Charles, who had already come into this faith, an announcer of the new birth and their message spread throughout the length and breadth of these British Isles in times when the church was at a lower ebb than she is today, and there was all kind of evil and oppression in the land.

May God bless you this day and grant to you the peace and joy that come with believing in His Son Jesus Christ.

• 2/14/2009 - How faith works

Posted in Unspecified

I have heard so much about the blind faith christians are supposed to have, my faith has never been blind. Hebrews. ch:11. v.1. explains what faith is, Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. St Paul in Romans ch: 10. v. 17 further explains, Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

If you will hear the message of Christ, if you will humble yourself to listen to it, God will put faith in your heart to believe it. This imparted faith is rock solid, you cannot see it, you cannot see happiness in the heart but it is real. And then having recieved this gift of faith you can step out and claim the blessings God's word has promised to you.

Now God is extraordinarily patient and merciful, He sometimes seems [but it is only seems] to change the order of things like when fierce and arrogant Saul, breathing out hatred against the christians on his way to Damascus when suddenly a light shone brighter than the noon-day sun and knocked him off his horse. But he still had to seek out Ananias to be instructed in the way so that he could recieve faith to be saved.

This is God's way this is the way He works, first He sends His word and if we will be humble enough to listen to it He sends faith into our hearts to recieve the blessings He has promised.

I pray YOU will be blessed this very hour, The Lord is gracious to all who call upon Him in sincerity and truth.

• 2/4/2009 - What God wills above all things.

Posted in Unspecified

Beloved I willest above all things that thou mayest be in health and prosper even as thy soul prospereth

*

That's God's will, someone will object and say "no, no this is only what St. John wished for his readers," listen St. John is the disciple whom Jesus loved, who rested in Christ's bosom at the table, he is not about to will anything for you that God  doesn't will. Of course God wants YOU to be in health and prosper, why wouldn't he?

I am not American, I hear so much about false preachers in what is called the "faith movement" I don't know about any of that, I only heard Benny Hinn preach once on a video and he preached forgiveness at the cross the resurrection and new life in Christ, taking St paul as my example he said many people are preaching the gospel for all kinds of reasons but he said I only rejoice that Christ is being preached.

I read the many detractors of " health and prosperity" preachers but I have yet to read a sensible cogent argument against the teaching, it seems to me that those who hate the doctrine have their eyes fixed just as firmly upon the man preaching as those who seem to fawn over them.

Does God provide? of course He does every saint knows it, well is His provision abundant or niggardly? what's the difference between abundant provision and prosperity?

Jesus demonstrated in His miracles that God's provision is abundant He does exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ask or think.

Look at people languishing in poverty, are they being blest? wherever the gospel has gone into whatever nation it has been recieved, prosperity has followed, and where it is rejected the people languish in poverty still, even though christian aid, tearfund and the salvation army and a whole host of christian organisations are lining up on the borders of those countries just itching for the opportunity to go in and feed their children.

Poverty is a curse, it started the day Adam and Eve rebelled against God and were chucked out of the garden of abundance.

God does not use poverty or sickness to teach man, to know what God's will is and what He is like you have to look at Jesus and He is a Healer and a Provider and He doeth all things exceedingly well.

Does that mean if you are poor or sick you are a rascal? no, a thousand times no, but never lose sight of the fact that God loves you and that His will for you is good. read my post on this page God Imputer and may the Lord bless you this day.

• 1/10/2009 - Thankless

Posted in Unspecified

There are seventy millions of souls

in the United Kingdom today

when Glorianna reigned just five

and when William crossed from France, they say,

were less than one million for him to conquer.

People migrating outward

from India perhaps.

In view of this it becomes very hard,

if placed alongside the evidence

of man's history beneath our feet

not to conclude that it was pure deceit

to exchange facts for a theory

as the evolutionists have done.

• 10/25/2008 - I will daughter you

Posted in Unspecified

 I will daughter you,
follow you
wherever you may go
though ties may now be broken
love will not have it so
I will daughter you.
*
You won't be alone
I'll come too
however hard the road
together we will walk it
we'll share the heavy load
I will daughter you.
*
Never take my freedom from me
by sending me away
though they make of me a stranger
where I make my bed is where I will lay.
*
And if the night is cold
long and dark
my love will make you warm
and light the empty spaces
until the morning come
I will daughter you.
*
Follow you
I will daughter you.

• 10/9/2008 - Beautiful sung to Cavatina

Posted in Unspecified

Lord You were beautiful

beautiful to behold

in Your shame Lord

and in weakness

God's love unfold.

*

There stood where I should have stood

in Your love You took my place

in Your Person You were bearing

all of my disgrace

(I never would have known

 the cost to You.

You paid to set me free)

*

No, not in majesty

comeliness to behold

but in pain Lord

and in sorrow

God's love unfold.

*

There stood a felon in bonds

so that I might go free

oh I love You Lord Jesus

on Calvary's tree.

*

Yes You are beautiful

beautiful to behold

not in power

but in weakness

Gods's love unfold

*

So very beautiful

my eyes behold.

• 10/3/2008 - I'm warning you

Posted in Unspecified

I'm not going to say about visions or dreams I may have had or voices I may have heard, God has plenty enough to say in the bible if people will not heed it then neither will they take notice even if someone was to arise from the grave to tell them, people walk around puffed up with conceit and vain philosophies but the words that God has spoken to man have ever been the words that have come to pass from the day He first told man, "thou art dust, from the dust I made you and to the dust thou shalt return."

Multiplied millions have proved as I have that the words of Jesus are true when He says "He that believeth in me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." Oh the wonderful joy of being born again, of having the indwelling life of Jesus in the soul by the Holy Spirit.

In speaking about God's word Jesus said it was like seed, good seed will produce a good harvest, but He also spoke about the enemy's seed, they grow together side by side in the earlier stages of growth they are indistinguishable from the good seed, only as they take root and come to maturity do their baneful presence become clear, people say "why doesn't God just destroy wicked people? if He's so powerful" He could do that, but He is also wise and has regard for His children, He says "no, wait until harvest. lest in rooting up the tares ye also root up the wheat."

So what is this seed of the enemy, and although I believe in the end-time harvest I also believe  there is a generational harvest when the seeds that have been sown in the world in YOU and in me come to fruition, I know what God's seed is, it is peace and joy and love "a well of water dwelling in you that will spring up into everlasting life." all these things are brought to  us purely by believing God's word and allowing it to be planted in our hearts, it's what God speaks to His children about.

The devil's seed is different it speaks hate, rebellion, lust which brings hurt and sorrow, greed for pleasure which cause destructive habits, his word speaks murder and wickedness. He spreads his word through his servants, through books and films and music etc planting in the hearts of men and women thoughts and dreams and evil aspirations which they then set about to accomplish in their lives. You are so wise why don't you look around you? go and buy a newspaper or turn on the telly and see if that is not just exactly what is happening all around you. What do you like to read? or watch, what words in the form of thoughts do you entertain and dwell on?

I do not know one single war in history caused by faith in Jesus Christ, oh there have been plenty waged by people who use His name as a cloak, just to take the Irish example since I am British of Irish catholic stock, The English protestants were planted in Ireland centuries ago for the sole purpose of subjugating the native Irish who happened to be catholic, thank God a measure of  peace has come to Ireland, they are not at present blowing each other up, may God add His blessing and cause a true and lasting peace. But the feud came from oppression, my great grand sire came to England because wherever he went for a job as soon as he gave his name and told where he was from they knew he was catholic and he would not get the job. Those employers may have been protestant by religion and acted under that banner but they were never christian, how can you know? because they were oppressing the poor which thing God abhors. That is what causes war it is all about possessions and territories and wealth and the witholding of it from others, don't tell me Jesus ever caused a war or that true faith in Him ever caused a war.

But you say what is this generational harvest thingy? it is when all that has been planted in the hearts of men and women over a long period of time suddenly comes to fruition and erupts. Now if you think that all that happened in the 2nd world war was the harvest of what people were imbibing to themselves in the inter war period, and all that happened in the 1st world war the coming to fruition of what people were imbibing to themselves in that generation prior, whatever do you think is in store for the next eruption? with all that people have been greedily imbibing to themselves these last 60 more years and folks don't kid yourselves it is going to come.

Does repentance in the light of this seem so abhorrent a word, distasteful? I tell you it is the only hope for this generation, get that wickedness washed out by the blood of Jesus, do you want a victim? Behold the Victim, you enjoy to see pain and suffering? I show you Jesus, but what He suffered He suffered for you in your place, else believe me the overwhelming odds are that in the next harvest, it's just a little down the road believe me when I tell you that, the odds are that you will not be in the place of the oppressor but the place of those who are oppressed.

May the joy of the Lord be yours this day and always.

• 10/1/2008 - In the bleak mid winter

Posted in Unspecified

And you will say to me "but it's not christmas" but what is a girl to do? if a poem comes you've gotta get that poem down. In the bleak mid winter was penned by Christina Geogina Rossetti [1830-94] I have retained her 1st and 4th stanzas and part of her 2nd.
*
In the bleak mid winter
frosty wind makes moan
earth stood hard as iron
water as a stone
snow had fallen, snow on snow
snow on snow
in the bleak mid winter
long so long ago
*
Lay Him in a manger
though He is Lord of all
poverty will teach Him
to hear us when we call
in the bleak mid winter
a stable place sufficed
The Lord God Almighty
Jesus Christ
*
I never would have known Him
though He was sent for me
if He had come in splendour
with might and majesty
this is heaven's wonder
that such a one as He
with love so warm and tender
should stoop so low for me
*
What then can I give Him?
poor as I am
if I were a shepherd
I would bring a lamb
if I were a wise man
I would do my part
yet what can I give Him?
give to Him my heart
*
Oh that I could love Him
and show Him all His worth
but I am only human
a child of this earth
when He comes in glory
then my tongue shall tell
I will kneel before Him
in the angel swell
*

Here is the carol as penned by Christina Georgina Rossetti sung beautifully by Corrinne May.

The most wonderful thing to know is that God loves YOU and that He wants to bless you, if that statement leaves you cold it's because you don't know Him.

• 6/4/2008 - Swerve

Posted in Unspecified

1 kings.c.22.v.52b. ...and in the way of Jereboam the son of Nebat, who made Isreal to sin...

*

There is almost no sin which vexes the Spirit of the living God in the way that the sin of idolatry does. St. Paul teaches in Romans.c.1.v.21-25...for although they knew God they did not honour Him as God or give thanks to Him but they became futile in their thinking and their senseless minds were darkened. Claiming to be wise they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man or birds or animals or reptiles. Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonouring of their bodies among themselves. Because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator Who is blessed forever!....
*
So what was the great sin of Jereboam the son of Nebat wherewith he made Isreal to sin? in the old testament we read that within the 1st hundred years of the monarchy there was a schism and Isreal was divided between Judah in the north with Reheboam as king and the rest of Isreal in the south who took Jereboam to be king.
Jereboam's problem was that the centre of worship for all Jews was in Jerusalem the capital of Judah, so all Isreal would travel to Jerusalem to offer sacrifice and worship at the temple of God there and he was afraid, in so doing the hearts of the people would turn back to the house of David and he would be deposed and killed. Jereboam's solution to this was to build shrines one at Bethel and one at Dan, and he made golden calves at each and proclaimed to the people of Isreal "behold o Isreal, these are the gods who brought you up out of the land of Egypt."
This was a huge swerve away from worshipping the one true and living God and he took Isreal with him. God never let Isreal forget this sin and faithfully it is recorded again and again in the history and chronicles of the kings of Isreal....the sin of Jereboam the son of Nebat who made Isreal to sin, and eventually it was this sin which caused the Jews to be carried off captive to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzer.
*
I cannot trace the exact time or place within the 1st century of the church that a decision was made to set up the eucharist as the central focus of worship by the people of God, there is a dearth of written evidence of the history and doings of the apostolic church between the 28th chapter of the acts of the apostles and the sudden appearance of the church fathers [so called] and apologists at the turn of the 1st century teaching sacraments and an episcopal clergy of priests and bishops to administer them. There must somewhere be a written account stashed away in some vault somewhere recording the decision.
The elevation of the eucharist as the central focus of worship is a huge swerve away from worshipping the one true and living God as great as that of Jereboam's golden calves and is idolatry.
There is no doubt whatever in my mind that this was the true cause of God withdrawing the manifest Presence of the Holy Spirit with His gifts and ministrations from the church.
I say manifest Presence because God does not withdraw His Presence, but this I assure you the Holy Spirit will never bear witness to a falsehood and sacramental religion administered by an heirarchal priesthood and clergy is false . He has however always borne witness to His word, when it is believed in, down through the long years of church history.

• 6/1/2008 - The coming struggle

Posted in Unspecified

In my little treatise "Antichrist first" which is on this page I give the reasons why I believe the appearance on earth of Antichrist must precede the coming again of our Lord, I reject the dispensationalist view that the tribulation period referred to by Jesus has application to the period of wrath poured out upon a wicked and unrepentant world.

The word tribulation wherever it is met with in scripture always means persecution, therefore the church would have to still be in the world for who else will there be to persecute "for My name's sake." The Revelator also refers to a vast multitude of every nation and every tribe and tongue who he is told have come out of the great tribulation in chapter 7 of revelations, these therefore cannot be Jews as the dispensationalists affirm.

So what was Jesu's description of that time of frightfulness which is to come upon the christian church?

In Matthews gospel chapter 24 Jesus says in verse 6-8 "....you will hear of wars and rumours of wars, see that you are not alarmed, for this must take place but the end is not yet. For nation will rise up against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be earthquakes and famines in various places, all this is but the beginning of sufferings...." These things never were end-time signs, God is not silent about the woes that have come upon a world which has rejected Him and is in rebellion to Him, the bible talks clearly about death and sorrow and suffering, God does not hide behind pious platitudes like the local vicar does He has always fully warned mankind and told the truth. Jesus is merely describing world history and people may fume about it all they like, but this is the world's condition whether they like it or not. Do you think war is awful? or famine? and earthquakes? these things Jesus said are only the beginning, there is much worse to come.

When I hear atheists rant and rave against God because of the suffering they see in the world, which of course they blame Him for, I am reminded of the mother talking to her small crying child she says "if you don't stop, I'll give you such a smack, then you'll have something to cry about."

Such people never spend a second of their day in thanksgiving for the multitude of blessings in their lives.

Jesus goes on to tell about the struggle that is to come upon the church, in verse 9-14 "then they will deliver you up to tribulation, and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake, and then many will fall away and betray one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because wickedness is multiplied, most men's love will grow cold. But he that endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

However awful the persecution of the Jews was by the Nazi regime, and it was awful, the coming persecution fortold here by Jesus, that is about to come upon the church with the advent on the world scene of Antichrist who is the prince of all those voices raised in spite and malice toward God and toward people who believe in Him, this persecution will be many, many times more horrific. And I am saying it is soon, christians should be looking for and preparing for this rather than the rapture which follows.

• 5/2/2008 - Edification from praying in tongues

Posted in Unspecified

St. Paul said "that which I recieved gave I also unto thee," well that's all anybody can do isn't it, if all you've recieved are a set of, redundant to usefulness doctrines, that's what you will be rattling on about, like a dog who has dug up some dirty, smelly old bone and he won't let go of it even if you toss him a lamb chop. This is not at all to dismiss good wholesome doctrine which is vital to our faith and which is coming under a most ferocious assault by the devil at this present time. But even good doctrines can be wrongly held.

When the Lord gave me SPOUSE SONG which along with DOVE SONG is on this page, I recieved it through edification after times of praying in tongues, I was a bit startled by the words "Jesus looking in the window" but when the song was written down and I saw that it was from Song of songs I read that book in the bible with renewed interest, what joy to find in the 2nd chapter "behold my Beloved...gazing in at the windows," if next time you are in church you were to look up and see Jesus looking in the window I guarantee you will be up on the balls of your feet singing with all your might, heavens forbid, you may even jump and clap your hands a little for sheer joy at seeing your Lord in His beauty. But dear friends He is there.

The song is about our first espousals to the Lord and our earliest love for Him, the stealings away for those blessed times of sweet fellowship with Him in prayer, our discovery of Him as our shade and shelter, the feasting upon the delicious fruit He brings us, the coming festal gathering and the comfort we have in the knowledge that His banner over us is love. Friends these are weighty themes to dwell upon, heart grounding and most precious truths and the dear Lord gave them to me in a song.

DOVE SONG if you look closely is actually the same song and taken from the same sacred book of the bible, but how different, here we see the saint perhaps a little further on in his walk with the Lord, maybe there has been some holding back, "I was asleep with heart awaked," some failing to enter in to the fulness of the Spirit, a measure of failure to open our hearts fully to recieve all that the Lord has for us. Perhaps the shadows have come, we may have lost a measure of the fulness His immediate Presence in our lives, and we seek somewhat sorrowfully and cry "oh where is my Beloved gone and my Dove where is He turned." We find Him again pasturing His sheep, gathering up His lilies-that is we find Him in the church-and we are reassured of His everlasting love for us.

What precious truths are these, what doctrines, what delicious fruit to feed on and Imma saying the Lord gave it all as a most holy and precious gift through the edification of a time spent praying in tongues.

Yes, yes these truths are in the bible, but I had read Song of songs without seeing them there. May the dear Lord bless you this hour, and He will if you will draw nigh unto Him believing.

• 4/16/2008 - Victory over sex sin

Posted in Unspecified

I love the Lord so when He started speaking to me about my besetting sin I knew I had a struggle on my hands, it was a choice between a close walk with Him or my pet sin, although I would still be saved.

There was a song in my head, one of those oldie type choruses, the tune was awful but the words were diamond, I knew that God was giving me the key to victory so I started singing, it goes like this.

I have been crucified, crucified with Christ

and I live no longer I but Christ lives in me

and the life that I now live I live by the faith

by the faith of the Son of God

Who loved me, Who loved me

and gave Himself for me.

Victory was not at all immediate, I kept falling but I would get up, dust myself off and start singing, over and over, and I got victory, praise God I got free, through a song? nah, through the mighty power that is in God's word.

Matthew.c.8.vs.16-17. That evening they brought to Him many who were possessed with demons and He cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick. This was to fulfil what was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, "He took our infirmities and bore our diseases."

Everything Jesus did on the cross He did for us, so that we would not have to.
In order for evangelical christians to deny that physical healing is provided for in the atonement that Jesus made for us at calvary they must deny the integrity and the infallability of scripture. Isaiah when he wrote the words of his prophecy down was not expressing his own opinions, nor was he engaging in wishful thinking, but the words that he wrote down came from God Himself and God said "surely" this you can be certain of, you can bank on this. Well what was the prophet so sure of? "He took our infirmities and bore our diseases."The fact that Isaiah was writing down God's word is proved by Matthew's account of Jesu's ministry.
Jesus said "lo I have come to do Thy will o God as it is written of Me in the roll of life," and He healed the sick. The will of God and the word of God are the same you cannot separate them and God's will for man is as unchangeable as God is unchangeable.
God sealed His will in the precious blood of His own Son, where a will is concerned it is sealed and unchangeable with the death of the one who made it. Whether you say testament or covenant or God's will or God's word you are talking about the same thing.
The question arises then if Jesus took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses why are so many sick? the answer is simply that people do not believe it, and the reason that they do not believe it is because it is not announced or preached, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God, and when it is preached it is not preached with the same certainty as for example the forgiveness of sin, and no-one will deny that this is the more needful provision, but and yet the promise of God to heal are contained within the very same prophecy.
Jesus had no sin, He bore our sins.
Jesus had no sicknesses, He bore our sicknesses
He had no death only life, He took our death, He died for us in our place. But there's more to imputed righteousness than this, for a divine exchange takes place when we come to God through the cross-and this is no new message or revelation this is the old, old, story of God's redeeming love-. When He takes all that is wrong with us He imparts to us all that is right with Christ. God looks upon us as He looks upon His Son. In place of sickness and disease He imparts to us miracle healing, He bore our sorrows and carried our griefs when He died on the cross, now God imputes to us by a miracle His joy and His peace. He imparts to us the very life of Christ.

Come sincerely to God in prayer to recieve the blessing from Him.

*

Lord Jesus I come believing

I ask for the great exchange to take place in my life

You will take my sins, I will take Your righteousness

I exchange my sicknesses for Your healing virtue

take away my death, so that I may have Your life in my soul

Grant for me to recieve Your joy and peace.

Let Your Holy Spirit come upon me now

as I recieve You as Lord. amen

Thank You Lord.

I think that Billy Graham is very wise, when asked about his belief about hell he says "I am certain that nobody will be there who does not deserve to be there."
He is really acknowledging that there is a very real and problematic difficulty with the doctrine of eternal punishment as it is presently held among evangelicals.

It is one thing to make statements of a controversial nature in the hush of an auditorium or in a church sermon where more than 90 per cent of the audience is in agreement with you, but to make the same statements, out in the general public, in the workplace or the school or college where the hearers are liable to be hostile to what you are saying is a different kettle of fish altogether.
The all important question is what do the scriptures say? If something is in scripture then that is God's word, I will stick to that in the face of any opposition and have done so in regard to what I have always believed the scripture says about the doctrine of eternal punishment, and I do believe in hell, I believe that people will be there and that it will be just as awful as Jesus said it would be.
But what I am finding harder and harder to sustain, as one who does actively share the gospel, and I may add harder to abide, is this hard-nosed believe or be damned message so beloved of such a vast number of my evangelical brothers and sisters, this is not at all to say that this is not the view most commonly held to be the orthodox doctrine of protestantism from the reformation on, and I do count myself, as one who has been cleansed of my sin by the atoning blood of Christ and born again of the Holy Spirit, as being orthodox
But as I read the scriptures and in particular the parables of Jesus concerning the day of judgement I am beginning to believe that it is not so clear cut black/white, christian/sinner, saved/lost, child of God /child of the devil. I think the whole doctrine needs to be looked at again carefully and prayerfully to see whether indeed we have got th right balance and the right interpretation of God's word on this vital subject.

I was reading Mathews account of the parable of the wise and foolish virgins in chapter 25 it reads "then the kingdom of heaven shall be compared to ten maidens who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom." and in the margin of the A.R.V. it has "and the bride." I am a very inquisitive soul so I checked it out in the K.J.V. and discovered there was no mention at all of the bride in that version, I dug a little deeper to see if I could solve the mystery of the missing bride, why was she not in the K.J.V. of the famous parable and why was she only accorded margin status in the revised text.
I discovered her in the ancient texts right there alongside the bridegroom where she should be according to eastern custom.
Upon further inquiry it transpired that the translaters of the K.J.V. had a problem of exegesis in that they could not see where the bride would fit in.
Let me explain, the bridegroom they understood quite correctly to be an allegory of Christ, the maidens have ever been accepted to be the 5 wise being the church or christians and the 5 foolish the world or the unsaved, that being so where would the bride, always and ever understood to be an allegory [and correctly] for the church fit in? You can see the problem the translaters had, we have all heard of the spare bridegroom at the wedding, here we have the spare bride.
The only solution to the problem is to understand that there are three and not two distinct groups of people mentioned here. Besides the Groom who is the Lord and His bride who is the church there are ten maidens divided into two groups the wise and the foolish.

When the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory and before Him shall be gathered all nations and He shall separate them one from another as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats.

And He shall set the sheep on His right hand but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand "come ye blessed of My Father inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was an hungered and ye gave Me meat, I was thirsty and ye gave Me drink. I was a stranger and ye took Me in, naked and ye clothed Me, I was sick and ye visited Me. I was in prison and ye came to Me."

Then the righteous shall anwer Him saying, "Lord when saw we Thee an hungered and fed Thee or thirsty and gave Thee drink? When saw we Thee a stranger and took Thee in? or naked and clothed Thee? Or when saw we Thee sick or in prison and came to Thee."
And the King shall answer and say unto them, " verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye did it unto one of the least of these My brethren ye did it unto Me." Matthews gospel chapter 25 and verses 31-40

We have here set before us the scene of judgement day, we have the Lord and His holy angels or saints, which has the same meaning in the original language of the scripture.
We know from scripture that when the Lord comes to judge the world with equity He will bring us with Him, those who have joined Him in the regeneration during this gospel age do not come into judgement because they have already accepted God's righteous judgement of sin, that it deserves death and have trusted themselves to the Saviour in that He has been judged and put to death for them in their place, how then can they be judged when Jesus has already been judged for them.
That poses a serious problem of interpretation for this scripture namely who are then the righteous sheep?
We have the Lord, the King and His saints "these My brethren" and the sheep on His right hand and the goats at the left who are both judged according to how they have treated God's people "these my brethren" the sheep are judged favourably and the goats unfavourably.
Notice that Jesus in addressing the righteous sheep says "come blest of MY Father" it is not your Father, notice also the lack of any recognition or kinship between them and the Lord or the saints "these MY brethren.
As in the parable of the wise and unwise virgins there are three distinct groups of people, the church, the wise/righteous and the foolish/unrighteous.

WHAT I BELIEVE.
I believe in the millenial age, the thousand year reign of Christ with His saints who are His co-heirs in the kingdom of heaven on earth. This thousand year reign will take place after the tribulation and the coming of anti-christ, his brief moment of triumph and his subsequent destruction, the rapture having taken place sometime during or after the tribulation, Satan will be chained and imprisoned during the millenium, then after the thousand year reign of Christ in His triumph as opposed to His reign now in His humiliation, Satan will be loosed for a short period  to attempt to decieve the nations once more culminating in the great and final battle between good and evil.
After Satan has been defeated and consigned to his place of eternal abode will come the last and final judgement after the second resurrection.

WHAT DOES THIS ALL MEAN?

That there is another world age to come after this gospel age, the millenium or the thousand year reign of  Christ with His saints on earth
The saints of all the ages will join Christ as co-heirs of the kingdom of heaven on earth. The righteous sheep and the wise virgins of the parables are I believe the meek whom Jesus said would inherit the earth. It will be an earth released from the bondage of decay and death which was brought upon it by sin.

• 4/2/2008 - SONGS GIVEN THROUGH "TONGUES"

Song of songs.c.2.v.9. My Beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag. Behold, there He stands behind our wall gazing in at the windows, looking through the lattice.

DOVE SONG

My Dove is stood beyond our wall

and should I leave Him there

He bids me join Him where He is

His shame and loneliness to share.

+

I was asleep with heart awaked

my Dove was at my door

He wooed with tender words of love

and I could make Him wait no more.

+

My Dove put His hand to the latch

my heart thrilled with delight

I rose to open up to Him

but He was gone into the night.

+

Sustain me with raisins

refresh me with apples

for I am sick with love.

+

My heart had failed me when He spoke

I sought but found Him not

I cried to Him in my distress

My Dove, my Lord, forsake me not.

+

Oh where is my Beloved gone

and my Dove where is He turned

city girls talk much about love

but there's a love which cannot be learned.

+

Sustain me with raisins

refresh me with apples

for I am sick with love.

+

There is my Belov'd, my Dove

He's pasturing His sheep

see Him gathering His lilies

I knew my heart's pledge He would keep.

Song of songs.c.2.v.9. My Beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag. Behold He stands behind our wall, gazing in at the windows, looking through the lattice.

Jesus looking in the window

oh is He calling me?

"arise beloved and steal away

the winter is gone you can see."

+

Fair flow'rs in the earth appearing

fragrant blossoming trees

voice of the love-dove fills the land

awakening love as it please.

+

Sustain me with raisins

refresh me with apples

for I am sick with love.

+

My Lord is as an apple tree

beneath His shade I rest

and taste the sweetness of His fruit

the while in His Presence so blest.

+

My Lord has got a feasting house

a place is set for me

while o'er me His banner of love

is there for ev'ryone to see.

+

Sustain me with raisins

refresh me with apples

for I am sick with love.

+

Jesus looking in the window

I know He's calling me

"arise belov'd and steal away

come, join sweet fellowship with Me."
