The Fourth Kind A Hoax

Posted in Movies- TV

Much to my great shame, I have to admit that I allowed myself to be duped by Hollywood. It had come to my attention that the movie The Fourth Kind was really just a hoax, and that the alleged acutal footage shown within the move was all faked for the movie and that there turely is not such thing as a Dr. Abagail Tyler, with whom the move portrayed as having been an acutal person, all of the characters within the movie were portrayed as if they were based upon acutal people, but it was all just one rather clever work of fiction. I must say that it was a rather celver fraud that they put on. In truth the movie was only loosely based upon some disseapricnes which did occur within Nome, Alaska and so someone got the idea to make a movie around the idea of a possible ailen abudiction theroy in regards to the disseaperences, but there was no acutal documentation of any such strange or unsusual events.

Upon first discovering this, I was at first quite irate considering I have just made my declaration that I was willing to reevaluate my views in regards to alien encounters, and become more open to the possibility based upon what this movie lead me to believe, but I should have more closely questioned the merit of the movie in itself and well in a way it is a comfort to be able to happily return back to my unchallenged steadfast skepticism in relation to aliens.

I have not been proven wrong yet!

And for a brief moment there was a certain excitement in the possibility of having my views and beliefs challenged and being confronted with something that I did not understand or could not explain, and well I have to give kudos to the movie. There is one thing which I must say quite amused me throughout the whole thing, that now finally does make sense, a very subtle clue that could have unraveled the whole thing and that plagued upon my mind all along and yet I did not know how to make it fit, and now it does make more sense.

One thing that did persistently bother me throughout the movie is some of the encounters, some of the things reported within the movie had a very curious close resemblance to the writings of H.P. Lovecraft, and I could not quite bring together why that was, I have never been a big one for coincidence, and I kept mulling over in my mind those similarities to Lovecrafts stories that showed themselves within the movie.

Knowing the whole movie had been put on, the Lovecraftian influence falls into place and makes a lot more sense.

The Fourth Kind.....

Nothing that comes out of Hollywood can be believed, even when they insist it's the truth. In Hollywood, there is no truth.
Never believe what you see in movies, and only half of what you read (and then, you still can't take it as absolute truth) It seems that the "truth" is whatever sells the most tickets, or volumes, or whatever.

Hollywood

That is quite true, though beleiving it was possibly real did make it a btter movie while watching, than if I knew all along it was fake.
