To cover up or not to cover up

Posted in Thoughts

Well today I heard this story on the raido about an issue which has come up before on other occasions, one I have mixed feelings about though no real strong opionons either way, I know it is something that others do feel strongly about either one way or another. The issue is employes having to remove vissable pericings and hiding tattoss while at work.

Now on the one hand I am not one to ever belive in catering to the ninny babies out there they have to squak about every little thing they do not like, no one has a right not to be offended. And well anyone who is offended by someone else having tattoos of perings is just an idoit and needs to get over it. I can understand not liking that sort of thing and not wanting to do it yourself, but to acutally by offended that another person has done it as if it effects you in some way is just immature.

On the other hand I can understand bussiness having to cater to such people as this if they wish to keep a profit and you cannot piss off the public you have to deal with, many different componaies have some sort of dress code or uniform and if not having any vissable pericings and tattoos is part of that, well then as an employee you need to just suck it up, and if you cannot handle then do not work there, otherwise be an adult about it and do what you have to do while on the clock, then you can do what you want once you are on your own time.
