Ok, I am tired of people making ridiculous stupid anologies and comprossains when they are trying to make an argument, about something that has nothing to do with thier arugment.
I was watching the Daily Show, and they were doing one of thier intervew things that they do and the were talking about the whole smoking thing, and Ed Holmes asked this guy the question "Why shouldn't you be able to smoke wherever you want" And he reponsed with "Well why can't you materbate wherever you want?
Really? Are you serious? You want to compare smoking with masterbation? Ok I am not even going to respond to that or try to explain it, becasue frankly if you cannot say how poor and irrelveant a anology that is, and if you do not already know how smoking and masterbation are clearly two different things then well you are truly an ignoramious, but this is only one example.
So many times I hear someone comparing something that is just so unbelivably irrelevant. For one thing can we stop going around calling everything or everyone we do not like Hitler? I mean really, I am sick and tired of hearing so and so is like Hitler all the time. And most the time said person in fact was nothing like Hitler, wheather you like them or not or agree with what they are doing, that does not make them Hitler.
