Lovers Moon
A lovers smile lights
the world. Sweet words
of serenade sung over
moons low slung light.
Shakespearean hymn recited
in lovers play, sweet ringing
laughter as we dance barefoot
upon the sand.
Stars the only spectators,
the wind gives teasing
kisses, but nothing can
temper rising passion.
Foreplay of words and
petting caresses, skin burns
in the sweet fever. Two lay
down together only in flesh.
Moans seem to make melody
not to be questioned. Hungry
bodies satisfying a lovers needs.
long separated, and united again.
At the end weariness settles
in and two sleep together
within each others arms.
