Someone made the comment in my rant about how much AC/DC sucks, and they asked if Rock and Roll was really about the music. I would like to address that.
It is true that rock orginaly was something more, it was a lifestyle, it was a way to rebel, it was a culture all its own, and was about so much more then just the music. But about sending out a message it was about being on the edge, now today the rock and roll subculture still exsists, but I think in this world of Pop Culture, where people who cannot even sing but are choosen for a look and put on tv was signing stars, made to sound good by computer technology, where they do not even wrtie thier own music, but are told what to sing by producers, or sing the songs of other artists, and where they certaintly do not play thier own instruements as they sing. Rock and Roll is now more then ever about music. It is some of the last real music left, where there is still an art to it. Still soul in it. Where they have real talent, and write thier own songs, and play thier own instruments. I hear people alot talking about how there is no good music anymore today, and I think that they are just looking in the wrong place.
