What is wrong with the world today? I am sure glad that I am grown now, though it is hard to belive how much things have changed from when I was a kid whicfh was not THAT long ago, but still seems an age away with all the changes. And they are not good changes as far as I am concenred. The people on the raido show I listen to always say we are turning into a nation of veal calves and I agree. I am sick of all the PCness out there, and this whole thing that everyone has to feel good, and thier are no loosers, and nothing bad can ever be alloud to happen.
Now the thing that has gotten me off on this rant now was a story I heard in which I am not sure why or just what grade, as I only heard little tidbits on the radio, but this kid got sent to Juvinile hall and had to do community service and pay something like a 68$ fine for giving another kid a tittie twister. Now I am not saying I support what this kid did, but come on, I think that is a little extrme, first of all since when do kids actally tell when they have been bullied? I remeber the days when that was not the kind of thing you talked about becasue you did not want to look like a pansy, and you knew if you told your mom would just do something to embrass you and make it even worse. What happend to just taking it and toughing it out? And secound of all who are these parents, that would actualy go to the cops about something like that?
I am not saying I agree with bulling but it is a natural part of life like it or not and it happens in the real world/adult world (that is out sight of school) just as much as it happens in school, just in different ways, and is this really sending the kid that the incident happend to the best message? Becaue you know what when you are out of school and grow up and someone does something not nice that you don't like, you cannot just go to your parents and exept someone else to come by and make it better, there are some things you just have to work out for yourself.
