I heard on the radio today this story about this guy, I think his name was Morris, but I cannot be certain, and he is apperntly one of the best atheletes in College basketball but he is having trouble getting sponsorship becaue he is openly a communist. Now the thing that gets me about this, is that if you look at any professional sport, it hardly matters what it is. Football, baseball, basketball, etc... it is perfectly ok to be a rapist, murderer, drug addict, woman abuser, but heaven forbid you might disagree with the goverment and think that there could be a better way of doing things in the wolrd then what the US is currently doing. Now I do not want to get into a whole debate about how well communsism does or does not work, that is not the point, I myself am not making any claims to wheather or not I support commusnism. My point is that, wheather you are a comminist,
sociologist, anarchist, monarchist, it really should not have anything to do with your profressiona career and wheather or not somone decides to sponse you. At least last time I checked having an opionon and ideology is not against the law. Apperently the message that this country wants to send is that it is ok to be a felon but not a freethinker.
