Down with Hayes

I just heard on the raido that Isaac Hayes has quite South Park, and will no longer be the voice of chef, becasue of the fact that South Park made fun of Scientology in one of its episodes and apperently he is a Scientologist. What sort of stupid douche bag is he? I mean seriously. He should know by now what South Park is all about, he has been working with it for how long? It makes fun of things, it makes fun of everything, that is what it does, but all of the sudden when it makes fun of something he belives in, he is going to get all uppity about it and act indingent? What kind of jack ass do you have to be to do that? If you are the kind of person that cannot handle any of your personal beleifs being made fun of in anyway, then don't get envoled in something that speiclizes in making fun of things. But no, he goes along with it, he has no problem as they make fun of just about every other relgion out there, but then when they make fun of Scientology (and come on, even if you are a Scientologits can you really be surprsied when someone makes fun of it? If you are going to be part of a relgion that is based off a seiris of Science Fiction novels, you have to have a sense of humor about it) he acts all surprsied and get his nose up in the air about it. I hate people like that. If you are going to get envoled in something that is desigend to offend people then you are just going to have to accept that eventually you yourself are going to be offended.

I heard that on the radio...

The host even said, "What hasn't South Park made fun of?". I guess if I didn't have first hand knowledge, I MIGHT think that people could overcome some mental illnesses by telling themselves they aren't going to let it bother them. I'm sure some people are on drugs who don't need them, but anyone who has ever seen or lived the dramatic difference those drugs can do.....it just makes me cry out of happiness.

Yes, that is what they were saying on the show I heard it on too pretty much, and if you are going to decide to be all high and mighty, then is Scientology really where you want to draw the line? That is probaly like the one thing they could make fun of that no one would care abotu execpt for Scientologists. How does that make you look, that you have no problem with them making fun of every other relgion and not to mention ever disease, race, handicap etc. But you want to put your foot down for Scientology?

Making fun of religion ...

I have to say, any religion founded by a man who is famous for saying "The only way to make a lot of money these days is to found a religion" and then does so is just begging to have the urine extracted. I mean, come on, I am sure many scientoligists are really sincere about their beliefs, but really, can they honestly expect the rest of us who gladly laughed at all the world's other religions to leave theirs alone? And why, then, is theirs special? I am happy to laugh at jokes about my faith because (a) they are jokes, and (b) I have faith. Faith cannot be shaken by humour, especially from a acartoon like South Park ...
