I am reading this great book right now called The Pillars of the Earth, and it takes place in the 12th century, and there was this one scene in the book that I thought was just great. This boy asks his mouth where babies come from, and she just lays it out for him plain and simple without fear. And I think it is just laughable how self-concious and afraid we are nowadays about are nude boides and are body parts, then now it has to become a big production on how to answer that question, and we try to come up with all these euphinisims to explain the parts, and we have to try to turn it into this fairytale, because otherwise we might permnately damage our children and it is a bunch of bullshift really, and reading that scene in this book really drives the point home. I almost laughed outloud when I read it, thinking about how people squirm around the issue in this day and age.
This is what she told her child plain and simple. "Babies grow from a seed. The seed comes out of a man's prick and is planted in a woman's cunny. Then the seed grows into a baby in her belly, and when its ready it comes out.
I thought that was great.

It is very interesting how we act nowadays. I agree with you.
Consider the living conditions
When everyone lives in a single one-room house and sees animals in the fields mating on a near-daily basis, it'd probably be hard to NOT know about the facts of life.
What depresses me is that we censor our media such that it is acceptable to show someone being murdered to a young teenager but not to show an act of love. And then we wonder what is wrong with society ...
