I know this is something others have talked about, upon the raido and such but I feel like talking about it now anyway. What would happen if people acutally answered the question "How are you?" honestly? Do half the people that ask really want to know exzactly how you are at that moment. It has become no different then saying hi, a meaningless greeting in which no real answer then some standard bull shit is exepcted. But wouldn't it be funny if people started answering honestly, and next time some causal aquintence of passing stranger asked "How are you?" you asnwered them honestly and unloaded your troubles upon them, for one thing I think people would stop using the term as such a causal greeting. Though it might not seem like a big deal I think it is in someways unforunate when certain words of phrases just get thrown around and degraded from what they really mean. I genreally try to aviod asking people that unless it is someone where I really would care what the response would be.
