Well I did itWell I did it, I ended up making an ad for myself, and I know it was just last night that I said I did not know if I was going to do that or not, but this morning I just woke up with the whim to go for it, and well at moments like this if I wait a while and do not act upon that whim then I will just end up talking myself out of doing it, so I hopped on the computer and made up my ad. So I guess I am putting myself out there.
For me to be doing this it does feel kind of strange and unlike me, becasue before my last relationship which has failed misserably I have never really gone actively looking for soemone before, it has always been my thought that if I cross someone in life that I connect with then good, but if I do not then oh well, but since I have been in a relationship that I thought could really be serious and the real thing well it made me see how much I do want someone in my life, though I do not want to come off as desperate, I do not think that is it.
It is just that it is important for me to meet someone who can share in what I belive, and considering my beleifs and how unmainstreem they are that is not an easy thing to do, there is not Pagan single bars you know, and I really do no like being in the social scene and with large groups of people anyway, so online seemed the best way to find a comunity of like-minded people. Another think I do like about meeting people online is that online comunication is everything, so you have to connect on a mental and intellectual level without the distraction of hormones and such of the like, and that is important to me.
And well the way I look at it is that if it was not meant to be and if I am "wrong" in doing this, if it is just an on the whim act from being on the rebound or whatever then no one will respond to my ad and after about a month I will forget all about it and move on to different aveneous, but if this is where fate is leading me then I will hopefully meet the person who can be "the one"
I have always belived that life is 1 part fate and 1 part personal action in a way, you cannot just sit around and do nothing and have everything you want just fall from the sky in your lap, a person does have to go out there and take steps to thier goals, but ultimately what is meant to happen will happen. And if one door closes it is bececause fate intends on opening another door.
