Ishtar is the Summerian Goddess of the moon and of Love, and she is a Goddess which I have always felt particuarly close to. She is the Goddess of the night, and there are certain matters in which I have sought her guidence, and she has always in the end come through. After my relationship had come to an end and I was figuring things out and trying to deal with it, because I was so sure that he was going to be the one, and I still could not belive that it was over, particuarly when nothing had went wrong, he just pulled out without reason. I turned to Ishtar becasue I did not know what to do and I asked for her guidence to help lead to the one, to give me some sign of my soul mate. That night I had a vision. It was a male figure though it was in shadow so I could not make out the details of the figure, I knew in that moment that he was the one, the one I was ment to be with. So I became determined to find this person, and it was this quest which led me to Pagan Personals, and it was through them I have met Matthew, and things with him have been going really well. In fact we have declared our love for each other, and he is just so considerate and thoughtful. On the next full moon, I think I shall have to pour libation to Ishtar.

I too have turned to the Goddess in matters of love and she has shared much wisdom...she has led me to live in the moment and take what I can from the beauty I am offered and remember sometimes "the one" for now is not "the one" forever and that is okay too. Good luck with the boy!
