Connie Chung Disaster

Posted in Thoughts
Did anyone else see the wierd Conne Chung, Morrie Povitch song? I do not know when it was on, I guess during the time of her show but I heard bits of it on the raido show I listen to and then they showed a clip from it on the Daily Show. But I guess basicaly the new show she had which was co-hosted by her husband Morrie Povitch apperently tanked, and I think it was cancelled or something, but anyway, she did this like parody song thing that I guess she wrote herself about her husband and thier show, and well it was a disasster. It was funny, sad, and scarry all at the sametime. First of all let me say I will be the first to admit, that her signing sounded pretty much like mine does, and I will also be the first to admit that such is something that no one should have to be subject too, and it should certaintly not be on national TV. You have to know your limits. I cannot sing, when I say that, I am not being modest, I am not exgerating, I really really cannot sing, hell that does not mean I don't still love to sing a long with good music, but I do it knowing that I sound horrible and I do not do it in a public setting where I exepct other people to acutally have to listen to me.

Connie Chung Disaster

I pretty much agree, it had a slight whimsical edge, yes she played it for laughs, but I hardly think it looks good on the resume of a once credible news journalist. I suppose now she kissed any chance goodbye that she may have had at a second time at anchoring an evening news program on a major network. It looks like the influence of Maurry in this, can a wife sue her husband for defamation of a career? lol... It looks like this will just further blur the the difference between tabloid & hardline serious news. Where is Simon Cowell when you need him?
