Summer Days
A winter song seems long lost against the fury of the hot summer sun.
A landscape once appearing in beautiful white and shades of green, charred to a desert barren.
What wind there is now like warm dragons breath searing the skin and lingering in the air long after the sun descends.
Sparkling blue, a liquid heaven taunts with the only relief, calling like a sirens song to draw the body in.
Sinking deep within the cool waters to escape the sky fire, turning the earth brown.
