InstinctI think we ought to trust our gut instincts sometimes, even when we might not see any logicial reasons behind doing so. I do not think a person always needs a logical reason for something, I do not think a person always needs proof. Sometimes when a person feels something strongly enough, and hears that voice somewhere deep inside, they should listen to it. Gut instinct perhaps is something deeply rooted in us from times long past which has never completely left but has been dulled in many, but still now and then it makes an apperence. And it is more accurate then one might be willing to admit. It can be tempting to ignore the feeling, either for the reasons of trying to prove to yourself that you are just being paranoid and that you have no reason to feel or think such, or because you belive it somewhere inside but you want to prrove it to yourself, but by the time you realize you are right, it is usually too late and you have got yourself in a bad situatiuon.
I have always paid close attention to my own inner feelings, but I have not always fully obeyed them, even while I knew I should, part of this has to do with just being currious. Even if I had a bad sense about something I wanted to see where it could go, in part becasue for good or bad I did not want to miss the exeprince. Part of it was that I thought I could change the outcome somehow, that if I was aware I could alter it, but that has never worked.
Sometimes you just get a feeling about a person, you sense something off, you have feeling something is not quite right, that it is not what it seems to be. A sort of vibe, even if this person has done nothing fowl to you or in your eyes, even if they might come off as nice. There is something that stirrs an inner voice. Sometimes you just know a person is not a good person, though you do not want to risk falsely accusing them. It is usually best in these instances to aviod said person no matter how irraltional on the surface it might seem. 2:06 PM - 7/8/2006 - post comment
