My parents just watched the documentary Super Size me, and were telling me about it, and from what they said, it sounds like it was really all just a farse more or less. For those that are not familler it was a documentary in which the guy who did it, set out to show just how unhealthy fast food, and particular Mcdonalds is for you. So he was going to eat Mcdonalds every day for a month, for breakfast lunch and dinner. But the thing is, he went way to the extreme instead of just ordering things like a normal person would he exceeded the limit. He set out to prove a point and he was going to prove that point no matter what he had to do. What I mean by this, is that instead of just ordering like a combo number 3 or something, he would order 2 big macs, a milkshake and fries and then have it all supersized. Now normal people don't eat like that. Or onetime he just kept eating untill it made him puke. No one abouve the age of maybe 8 does that if they have a brain. So if you ask me the whole thing was really kind of stupid. It would have had more cridiablity if he ate in normal proportions of food. So it was really not a documentary in my opinion but a work of propaganda.

Great Review!
Too bad. I have to book -didn't read it yet :( I heard the author on a radio talk show. Come to think of it, I do think the general consensus with the host/audience was that they were actually siding with McDonalds. I see what you mean. Who would eat like that?

You should watch it for yourself....I didn't find it to be propagandistic.
