I have recently decided to get together a collection of some of my poetry and put it together to self-publish in a book of poems. I am seeking any artists who might be intrested in designing the cover art for my book. Those of you that know I do visual art myself and are wondering why I do not do it myself, it is because I currently do not have the means to download art onto my computer.
I will tell you up front that I am not in a posistion finicialy to offer payment for the service so you would be doing it for your own gratification and out of the goodness of your heart. But you will be given full cridit in the book for your work, and for your trouble, and for whatever it may be worth I will send you a free autographed copy of the book when it is complete.
Also all artist styles are welcome, there is not a spific image or idea I have in mind. I will give you the basic mood and feeling I wish to portray and tell you the type of poems that will be shown in the book to give an idea, but from there you will have freedom of expression. So you do abstract, surreal, realism, even phographic art..etc...
