Because I have noticed people taking an intrest in the Quote of the Week and I have had a couple comments on the quotes I decided to provide a space dedicated to discussion and remarks upon the quotes, as well if you wish to share any of your own quites. That is one way to look at it, I suppose, though I do not see it as such, and in theroy I suppose everyone is corruptiable but I think there are those few whom cannot be corrupted.
I see the quote as being that those whom are of weak hearts and weak minds are easily corruptiable becasue they are cowards whom cannot gain what they wish through thier own merrit, and they easily cave instead of standing firm.
People who are weak envy people who are strong and so they are more like to deal with the devil as it were becasue they know they cannot stand up for themselves in order to prove who they are.

Everyone has their price
I agree with you, people of lower merit will usually chose the easiest path to riches. But if the end result is the same, then does it matter what path they choose?

BURNS: The man's a genius! We don't need to be here to help him. HOMER: You mean you're giving me absolute power!? SMITHERS: Sir, doesn't that corrupt? BURNS: Absolutely...not!

Yes I think it does matter, if a person gets riches through thier own blood and sweat so to speak, and works hard in legtimate work for what he wants, oopposed to a person who gets what they want by plowing over everyone else with no reguard, and taking unrightfully from others instead of earning it for himself.
