I just recently got back from seeing Lady in the Water, I love M. Night Shamalan, he his one of my faveorite directors, and he is like a mondern day Hitchcock to me. I always look foraward to his movies and know I can expect something new and different each time.
Lady in the Water was a very intreting and unique story I thought. It was a little different then some of his other movies. I do not wish to give too much away, but I did not really find it so much scary really. It was something of a fair tale that was starting to unfold within a mondern world.
And as in the way of fair tales I think it did have a message to tell. But it was an intresting and enjoyable moive, though I would have to say I think the previwes were the scariest part of the moive. But I do like the sublty in his movies and the sophitication of them.
I can always rely on him to bring something new and to be very different, and in that regaurd this movie was no different then the others. It was tremendously creative.

Hi Silverwind,
Well I agree with you somewhat. Signs scared the heck out of me! I don't know if that was just me, but it was freaky and interesting the same. The Village...well I don't know about you but I kept wondering to myself as I watched it, 'What the heck is going on?' I would like to go see Lady in the Water. Sounds very interesting.
Blessings!
