Loose YourselfI know that Emenim is the source of much controversy or has been in the past, and that many people have strong feelings about his music and the matterial in which he chooses to sing and so on and so forth, and though I will not say I have supported him nessciarrly but I have supported his right to express himself in whichever way he choose reguardless of what others thought or any offensive it might have given. I am strongly against censorship. But all that aside, though his music and rap in genreal is not usually to my taste, it dose not mean I will never listen to it or don't find a few good songs here and there, and I have to say no matter your feelings or thoughts about him and his music, or rap Loose Yourself I think is truly a remarkable song I would recomand giving it a tree and setting aside any resorvations you might have. Of course you might hate it all the same, but you also might be surprised. And I am not asking any one to change thier thoughts and views about Emenim I still do not particuarly like him but that dosen't mean he dose not have some talent. I just think you should give this one song a try. It is like the old clique, "Don't shoot the Messeanger" but in this case reversed, don't ignore the message becasue of the messenger. I have to say that Loose Yourself has a certain affect upon me, it is a powerful song and it is not one of violence or obsentity, there might be a few bad words here and there but overall I do not think it is a negitive song.12:01 PM - 8/19/2006 - post comment
