Upon Seeing a Figuritive GhostUpon Seeing a Figuritive Ghost
I saw just a flicker, a moment, a passing. It was as a ghost or a spell long cast, how hard I tried to forget, how hard I fought to be free. And you had to come back to me. You had to reveal yourself when things were turning around. How much I thought I was purged. How much I worked to put it behind. But you are vowed to have your barbs deep inside me you are detertimined not to release my soul. But it is not for your taking I will not hand it over upon a silver platter. I am done with it. You had a chance once and snuffed it like a candle flame What right have you to emerge again? Your voodoo is laughable to me. Perhaps it works for a while to probe my mind into feeding frenzy so much of the past rewakend when I thought at last it was under lock and key. But you will have nothing of me. I won't give it. You haven't stole my happiness away for all your mistakes. I still breathe. So inhale your own toxins. I am indifferent now. You will not inspire my rage or my sorrow I wish I had the asnwers and perhaps I would seek the reason why even now but nothing still will change. My life I have taken back for myself and that is how it will remain. 6:45 PM - 9/6/2006 - post comment
