If you take drugs you will die in a blizzard

Ok I think I just saw the stupdidest anti-drug ad ever. The ad showed this photo of this couple and then the screen would go black and it would say so and so and so and so were lost in a blizzard, and like in the background you could hear thier 911 call on his cell phone, and he is like "I don't know where we are, we are stuck, my girldfrind is freezing, my phone is going dead, help us please" then it would say on the screen they were high on meth, and then after that, they were found frozen to death.

Um ok, but seriosuly what does what happend to them have to do with them being on drugs? I mean really. Not only can that, but that has happend before to people who are perfectly sober. Somehow they are trying to blame the fact that this couple got lost in a blizzard and froze to death on drugs. I mean I know people talk a lot of shit about drugs, and I am not saying I am pro drug or anything, but seriously, that is a little ridiculous and far reaching. And no one who sees that is going to be effected by it in anyway. I mean in truth that ad had nothing to do with drugs at all, exepct for the fact that they said, hey look at these people, they froze to death in a bliizard oh and by the way they were also on meth, so don't do drugs. What? They cannot really be serious with that can they?

Meth killed 'em

I remember seeing this story last winter and it blew my mind.
I read all the articles about it and listened to the 911 tapes
they had available.
Bottom line is, they were in trouble when
their pickup stalled out and they had no winter jackets, but
they were so whacked, they were convinced they were in a
part of town that they weren't, and they would go on about
their hallucinations of seeing people hanging car parts in the
trees, all the while denying they'd taken any drugs.

When you're at the edge of a quarry, and you can't tell the
911 operator that you're at the edge of a quarry, and instead
ramble on about "hundreds of people down here", then I think
its your drug-induced hallucinations that did you in. Its their
hallucinations that made them leave their stalled truck in the
first place. Who, not totally wacked, would leave a stalled
vehicle in a blizzard, wearing only a hooded pull-over,
especially when they had a phone? Meth killed 'em.
