Well I do not know if I have mentioned this before, but I love dance. It is an art form of which I hold a great intrest and resepct. I find it is powerful, passionate, sensual. And I love the movement of the dance, and what it represents. The struggle between partners, as they tease each other, and tempt each other, the aggression and the love. I love dance in almost all its forms and I do have some talent and skill with it, though it is something I would like to further and advance. I can do some swing, salsa, merganga, rumba, cha-cha, and a bit of tango.
Now there is a particular form of which I wish to discuss, for when I first saw it I fell in love with it. It is truly magnificent, and perhaps a form that many people might not be exposed to or aware of. It is the Pasodoble.
The Pasodoble is a Spannish dance and it is the dance of the bullfight, (though I am stuanchly against bullfighting that is another story) the dance itself is truly stunning and beautiful to watch, it is full of passion, and power. and the relationship of the man and the woman is remarkable in the dance. The idea of the dance, is that the man represents the matador, and is strong, masculine, confidaunt. And the woman is the cape, flowing, smooth, graceful and mysterious. Not to mention the custumes often used for the dance are stunning and enchancing. I would for the oppertunity to learn this dance. And if any one gets a chance to check it out and just watch it.
I have become entralled with the Pasodoble and it has become one of my faveorite dances to watch. It is truly entertianing and striking.
