What if they are wrong

Posted in Thoughts

I was just sitting here thinking and well I am sure many of us are famillair with the fact and concept that often at night strange thoughts and wanderings might happen to occur to us, and well this is an idea that has come into my mind once or twice before. And it is just something that is kind of amusing to ponder.

I know that Chrisians for the most part, would never even so much as conviece of the possiblity that they might pehraps be wrong in thier choosen beleif, but supposing they are, for all thier confidence, and dare I say arrogence, and for all thier soul damming, and thier surpierorty complex, and thinking thier better then everyone else for what they belive, and thier condomeing and judging and so on and so forth (and yes I know not all Christians are like this) dosen't one just have to wonder what in the world would happen if after thier death, supposing the soul remaind concousous to some degree they disocvered they were wrong after all?

I mean what could they possibly say or do and how would they feel if after all thier condemming of other poeple, and all thier preaching and attempts to convert everyone else to think and belive like them, they die and exepct to go up to the pearly gates to find there are none? That there is no heaven there is no God as they know it, no angels. But say they end up in the astral plane, by the River Styx, in the Summerlands, etc.. You just got to wonder what at that moment would flash through thier minds.

Now I am not one who belives that a person will be punnished in the afterlife, and live in eternal tourment for no other reason then what thier religious beleifs might be, but a part of me always thought that if it were in anyway possible it might be kind of amusing to sit back and watch the look on thier faces when they realize they had it wrong considering how villigent and mean spirited many of them are reguarind thier beleifs, and thier lack of respect for the beleifs of others.

It truly would be classic.

I do not wish them to "hell" or any other place simillar to hell, or anything of the sort, despite how critical I might seem at times, and you know what I would be perfectly happy if after they die they do go to some place of bliss and peace and happiness and so on, but I think that the moment of thier realization that they were wrong would be all the justification in the world for every crime against humanity that has been comitted in the name of God.

I am quite confident that we will all be surprised.

The important thing is, is that we must know we are wrong all the time. If people tried, just for one day, to live every moment with the knowledge that they are wrong, it would change millions of lives.

And that feeling that you felt, just for a moment, that caused the smile to creep across your face as you watched all those Christians jaws drop, was validation. Unfortunately validation is a pipe dream, like happiness.

Revenge is Sweet. And we will have our revenge against those that forced there ideals on us for 2 millenia in death, and death alone.

Keep up the good writing, yours is the only blog worth reading on here anymore.

Loves.
