The Autumn wind blows
so the sun may weep,
the Autumn wind blows
through hallows of deep,
faded the birds song,
so the sun may weep,
winter swept along,
a darkness is brought,

so the warmth is sought,
long becomes the night,
a darkness is brought,
sun losses its sight
and so glows the moon,
long becomes the night,
winters rein is soon,
the Autumn wind blows
and so glows the moon,
soon shall there be snow.
