Have you ever noticed that there seems to be this unspoken rule that all or at least nearly all horror stories have to have a scene in them envolving a gas station and that the gas stataion has to appear near broken down and all but desereted and there is usually always a small autobody shop off to the side of the gas station in which more often then not the mechanic must appear to be a little battay and crazy, or sometimes it is the gas station owner himself. It is near impossible to watch a scary movie that does not have this scene, and then it made me laugh because I had just recently started reading this book that is suppose to be a horror story, and it had that scene in it. What is it really about the gas station that makes it the sort of foreshadow of things to come, I mean you know when you are watching a movie, if there is a scene which involves having to stop at a gas station something bad is going to happen later down the road. And usually in some way the people working at the gas station or either in on what is going on or they know about it, and usually serve to play one of two roles, to lead the people into danger, or to try and warn them away.

Yeah, well, you should only pump gas at official gas stations sanctioned by Dick Cheney. If you fill your tank elsewhere, better beware of the consequences!
