Sex, Nudity and Children

I have always had a certain fascination with the sort of obcessed fear people most particuarly in the US have regaurding the nude body and most particuarly in the idea of minors happening to see someone naked. It has always held a wonder to me that I have failed to completely understand as I have yet to find just what is offensise about the nude body? And what harm could its viewing possibly bring? For one thing there are other countries and culturers that do not have this same obcessed fear, and thier childern are exposed to nudity but I do not think it has casued them any great truma to do so, nor do I think they have suffered mentally from it in any way shape or form, and well once upon a time ago it was perfectly natural for nudity to be freely displayed. Really it is the stigma around it that I think does the most harm, as well as what makes nudity seem like some sort of terrible thing to be sheltered against. Personaly I think that it is nothing more then the Christan ideal that this country was founded upon that teaches that nudity and sex are sinful and evil which has been inbread in people reguardless of what they now cliam thier beleifs to be and causing them to respond to nudity or sexual imagery in a way of replusion, it is very much as if poeple have all been brainwashed and perosnally I think that people need to get over that hang up a bit. I am not nessciarly saying there should be a free for all, but I think people need to see just how ridiculous they are being about all of this.

I remeber when I was younger, way back in the day, before direct tv and all of that, my grandfather had one of those illegal black boxes which people used to pirate the pay perview channels, your hbos, showtimes, etc.. and so whenever I would spend the night at htier house, the room where I slept had its own tv so I would stay up watching movies all night becasue I did not get those channels at home, and I would occsiaonly come acorss your more racy networks, your Spice, and Playbow and such, and being an inqustive child knowing I was getting away with something I wasn't suppose to be doing I would of course watch, and you know what up to my knowlege it did not scar me for life, or do any emotional damage to me, I was not tramatized by it in fact as far as I know it really had little to know affect upon me. Now I am not saying parents should nessciarly blantely let thier childern watch porn, but maybe it is not really quite as damanging and dnagerous as people seem to act like it is.

Nudity

I find the idea of one using thier ass to paint and calling it art stupid, but that does not mean I am offended by the idea of the nudity just the way that anything and everything is called art. If a guy wants to make pictures with his ass and put it on the interent I could careless, but don't try to acutally call it art, because I do not buy that it is.

Over here nudity is certainly much less of a problem. Several mainstream stations have porn shows, which may start as early as 10 PM. Plus, if a naked body is not participating in sexual acts it may even be shown in shows for kids.

When it comes to kids and nudity, by the way, even that is legal, along as the kid is obviously not being forced to, and not participating in sexual activities. Many parents don't let their children under six wear swimming clothes on the beach for instance, and pictures of that are perfectly legal. There have been problems with Dutch families moving to the US, who brought their undeveloped beach vacation films to American photo shops...

Also, one of the national symbols of Belgium is 'Manneken Pis', a little naked boy peeing. Statues appear in several Belgian cities, with water coming out of the penis. At least two US states have condemned bottles of a certain Belgian beer brand depicting Manneken Pis on the labels as children's pornography. I believe Iowa is one.

And um... watch any Dutch movie from the 1970s, and at least fifteen minutes are devoted to the tender act of reproduction.
