HouseI have never been a fan of doctor or hospital shows of the likes of ER and whatever other ones there might be out there, for one thing becasue of my dislke of the hospital in genreal and the fact that I have not been in a hospital sense I was 12 and another reason there was just nothing about that kind of show that held my intrest, but on Tuesday's there never is anything on TV and sometimes I will watch a DVD but at the time I did not have any rented DVD's to watch and well I have already admitted that I do watch the try out rounds of American Idol so I decided to watch that, and then after that was over this show called House came on. And I have heard of it before, it is one of those shows that got all sorts of hype and there has been a lot of talk about and what not, and I knew there would ne nothing else on and I did not feel like flipping through the channels so I decided to just leave it. And at first I thought I would just use it as sort of background noise and not really even watch anyway, but I would glance over and found myself watching it, and it was not bad, I found myself finding it somewhat intresting I think for one thing House really is a lot like me in someways. He really does not like people or dealing with them and he can by cynical and something of a renegade, and had this sort of anti-hero persona to him. And another part of it might just have been luck of the draw of having an intresting episode on at that time. Basicaly the gist was, he had gotten in trouble for a drug addiction and his supervisor lied in court to keep him out of jail and in return she wanted him to do clinical work in the hospital but he really did not want to do it, and then this girl comes in who had been raped and he does not want to deal with it, but she insists on him being her doctor though she does not really know why, there was just something about him that spoke to her, and he could not understand that becasue he belives in rationality for everything that happens. I do mot kow if I will watch the show on a regular baisis but I could see myself watching it again some Tuesday when nothing else is going on.7:34 PM - 1/31/2007 - post comment
