Ok sense when has alchohol became the scape goat and excuse for everything any one does? And sense when has it become an acceptiable excuse that just explains everything away and removes peroswnal responseablity from ones actions?
I cannot count how many times now you turn on the raido or TV and some personality or figure is blaming this or that scandol on the fact that they have a drinking problem, and further more sense when has it become so popular and like a good thing to be viewed as an alchoholic? Not to mention isn't that one going to get old after a while? I mean how many people can pull that one out before people no longer buy into it? Or is alchoholsim just suddenly spiking as an epidemic?
I mean first Mel Gibson is anti-sementic becasuse he had a drinking problem, and Mark Foley molests youg boys because he was an alchoholic, and then there was that whole miss Amercia thing, and now I do not know how many people would have heard about this, but well the mayor of San Fransisco has been taking a lot of heat lately because it just came out that he had been sleeping with his best friends wife, and now of course he is saying that the reason he did it was becasue he had a drinking problem.

Yeah, the way people use alcoholism as an excuse almost makes me wonder if I missed something. Has alcoholism become acceptable somehow since the last time I checked? If so, just think of the many opportunities. Drinking a few beers and then being allowed to do anything you want. What if Muhammad Atta and his co-hijackers had been drinking before they boarded the plane?
