Common ground between Science and Christains

Posted in Thoughts

I was just reading this article on AOL news about how Scientists are starting to become worried about the fact that thier is a rise in beleif in what they call pesudoscience, horoscopes, astrology, extra terristrials, and so forth. And now I know a lot of this stuff is crack pot and freud, the thing with me is I have always been both a beleiver and skeptic, it is part of my spriritual beleifs to embrace the supernatural and I have had enough experinces to know there is something out there, thier are mysterious, I have alwyas been something of a mystic, but I also know there is a lot of phony stuff out there, and I do not like to trick myself or mislead myself, but that is going off topic a bit.

The point is, this is one of the reasons why I have always rather disliked sicence and scientists, because in this regaurd they are too much like Christains, that is to say they have the mantility of, well I belive in this, and I know I am right, so everyone else who does not see it my way hs a problem and it needs to be fixed. Just as Christains want to convert people to Christainty, scientists want to convert everyone to atheisim, they care not content just to beleive what they beilive, and let the rest of the world beleive what they want to belive, they think everyone must see things the way they see them or else sometehing is wrong.

I hate groups that will not just let people alone, that want to take something away from people and ultimately kill free will and individulaity by making everyone think like.

If someone chooses to beleive in something that might sound utterly and completely ridiculous to you, then who cares? Let them have that if they found some meaning in it, why do you feel the need to try and crush it? What sort of sick satisfaction do you have in twisting everyone around to agree with you? Are you that insecure?
