Our Fairy Love
Beneath the whispering willows for you I wait
softly the breeze carries my name on your lips
it's my only wish that you not be late
Together we will sail on fairy ships
hand in hand we will pass under starlight skies
through wind tossed seas our vessel of love clips
In your arms I listen to albatross cries
in your eyes all I ever wanted was found
the father we go the more past memory dies
your tender words in my the only sound
and to your I shall bee eternally bound.

Yes!
This one also sings with the electric vibe that
your best pagan poems thrive within.
I just rewatched (no time to reread on my schedule,
alack, alack, alack!) Shakespeare's Midsummer
Night's Dream. The absolute feel of vernal spring
that flows from Oberon or Puck when they speak
is captured herein. For instance, in this stanza
"Beneath the whispering willows for you I wait
softly the breeze carries my name on your lips
it's my only wish that you not be late"
I get the welcomed feeling that MSND always
brings to me when I revisit it. This line also brings
back into play one of your important themes: there
is no barrier between the subject of your poem and
the objective natural world that surrounds him/her. From
lips, to the soft seductive breeze, to the object of your
affection exists a fine silken cord of romance. Great
effect!
Once again, thanks for sharing. I enjoy trying to map
out your poems in my head and connect the golden
threads. The cool thing is, I have no idea if you intended
your readers to do such crazy things.

Thank you
I thank you once more for your kind words, and hearing your thoughts on my work is always a pleasure, and one of the things I like to do with my work is to allow them to manifest within the readers mind opposed to trying to dictate something to the reader.
